Dysten displays at Warsaw tram stops
Dysten manufactured 20 two-sided real-time passenger information system boards for tram stops in Warsaw, the capital of Poland.
Modern, visually attractive devices are equipped with LED RGB displays, 4 mm raster, and luminance over 5000 candelas per square meter. The boards automatically change the brightness of the LEDs, adjusting the luminance to the ambient light intensity.
Passenger information displays feature corrosion-resistant housings and safety glass with anti-reflection coatings.
There is the TTS system (text to speech module) installed in the pole, with illuminated Info buttons accessible from both sides, additionally marked with inscriptions in Braille. Pressing a key causes the content to be read from the display – which is important for partially sighted and blind people.
