GZM metropolis – another passenger information displays
The implementation of the largest real-time passenger information system in the country for the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis is slowly coming to an end.
Dysten made, installed and launched another eighty passenger dynamic information boards in LED amber technology. All devices are double-sided, equipped with a high-resolution 360-degree monitoring system. Each of them has an integrated TTS (Text-to-speech System), activated by pressing the illuminated button on the support pole. The panes flush with the housings are equipped with special filters.
The sensors reduce the light intensity of the DIP boards in the evening to avoid dazzling the drivers. They also inform the traffic control system about events such as opening the housing, impact or glass breakage.

The implementation and expansion of the metropolitan area’s SDIP currently includes over 460 boards, the sdip.metropoliaztm.pl passenger portal, M2GO applications for smartphones and the Traffic Control System.
